Job summary

Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine is seeking a Field Reimbursement Manager to lead education, support, and issue resolution with healthcare providers, focusing on patient access to Janssen therapies. This role requires up to 50% on-site work with HCPs, and coordination with multi-disciplinary teams across payer types.

You will analyze complex data, adapt to evolving policies, and build trusted relationships with customers in the assigned territory, including NM, TX, AZ, and CO regions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (preferably in healthcare or business/public administration). An advanced business degree (MBA), or public health (MPH) is preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience.
• Account Management and/or Reimbursement experience in a provider office setting.
• Reimbursement or relevant managed care experience (revenue cycle, buy-and-bill, prior authorization, coding, and appeals processes).
• Expertise with pharmacy and medical/buy-and-bill benefit design, coding, billing, prior authorizations, office operations, and appeals processes.
• Ability to establish relationships, collaborate, and influence across a matrix organization.
• Problem-solving ability to navigate challenging access scenarios and identify solutions.
• Superior communication skills (written and verbal) and efficient follow-through.
• Experience in working with patient support HUB services.
• Valid US driver’s license and driving record; permanent residence in the listed territory.

Responsibilities

• Educate HCPs on reimbursement processes, claims submissions, procedures, and coding requirements of payer organizations.
• Collaborate with field support team members and serve as access, fulfillment, and reimbursement expert for the local team.
• Lead compliant access and fulfillment discussions with field support team members.
• Utilize data and account management skills to address access barriers.
• Address critical access and affordability issues for patients with urgency and accountability.
• Partner with managed care colleagues to understand current policies and future changes.
• Conduct field-based reimbursement and access support, education and problem-solving.
• Build strong, trust-based relationships with customers in all assigned accounts.
• Manage territory logistics, routing, and account business planning.
• Maintain knowledge of market dynamics including coverage and coding requirements.
• Grow knowledge of hub and specialty channels to support patients and practices.
• Collaborate with internal J&J departments as a subject-matter expert on access and affordability.
• Execute business ethically and complete all required training.
