Job summary

Houchens Food Group is seeking a skilled Refrigeration Service Technician to support our network of supermarkets and convenience stores. This field-based role covers maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of commercial refrigeration systems across assigned locations to ensure product integrity and store operations.

You will work independently in the field, participate in on-call rotations, and collaborate with supervisors and store teams.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting & Repair: Diagnose and repair refrigeration, electrical, and control system issues
• Refrigeration System Maintenance & Reliability: Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on commercial refrigeration systems
• Field Operations: Complete service work across assigned locations with minimal supervision
• Work Order, Asset & Inventory Management: Accurately document work orders, labor, and refrigerant usage
• Safety & Compliance: Follow EPA, OSHA, and company safety standards
