Job summary

Houchens Food Group seeks a skilled Refrigeration Service Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair commercial refrigeration across our supermarket and convenience store network. This role focuses on system reliability, temperature control, and product integrity in a field setting.

You will work independently in the field, with on-call rotations, and collaborate with supervisors and store teams to resolve issues and optimize performance.

Qualifications

• 2–5+ years of commercial refrigeration experience preferred.
• EPA Section 608 Certification (Type II or Universal) required.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair refrigeration, electrical, and control system issues.
• Perform routine and non-routine service calls with minimal supervision.
• Document work orders, labor, and refrigerant usage accurately.
• Support field operations and on-call rotations.
