Job summary

Houchens Food Group is seeking a skilled Refrigeration Service Technician to maintain and repair commercial refrigeration systems across our stores. This field-based role requires hands-on troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and the ability to work independently while coordinating with supervisors and store teams.

Candidates should have 2–5+ years of experience, EPA Section 608 Certification, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Competent in diagnosing refrigeration, electrical, and control issues.
• Ability to perform routine and non-routine service calls with minimal supervision.
• Proven reliability and accountability in field service roles.
• Strong communication with store personnel and team members.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot & repair refrigeration, electrical, and control systems.
• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on commercial Refrigeration systems.
• Document work orders, labor, and refrigerant usage accurately.
• Respond to emergencies and participate in on-call rotations.
