Houchens Food Group is seeking a skilled Refrigeration Service Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair commercial refrigeration systems across designated locations. This field-based role requires independence, on-site collaboration, and timely service to support store operations and product integrity.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• EPA 608 Certification (Type II or Universal) is required.
• Valid driver's license is required.
• 2–5+ years of commercial refrigeration experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair refrigeration, electrical, and control system issues.
• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on commercial refrigeration systems.
• Complete service calls across assigned locations with minimal supervision.
• Document work orders, labor, and refrigerant usage accurately.
• Collaborate with technicians and store personnel for efficient problem solving.
• Support equipment installations, retrofits, and system upgrades.
• Follow EPA, OSHA and company safety standards.
