Job summary

KIPP Texas Public Schools is seeking a Recruitment & Community Coordinator to lead in-field outreach, community engagement, and student recruitment efforts across the region. The role focuses on hands-on application acquisition through events, partner collaboration, and field activities to achieve annual recruitment goals.

The RCC will manage volunteers, track outcomes, and maintain CRM data, with flexible hours including some evenings and weekends, to meet district targets in a mission-driven

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 4 years of experience.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish required.
• Experience in recruitment or community engagement.
• Strong cultural competency with diverse populations.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Strong planning and project management; ability to juggle priorities.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport.
• Self-motivated, team player with integrity.
• Proficient in MS Office and Google apps.
• Reliable transportation to travel between campuses.

Responsibilities

• Lead recruitment activities and contribute to regional goals.
• Plan and execute recruitment events (block walking, tabling, community events).
• Pitch KIPP Texas to prospective families to meet targets.
• Maintain weekly field plans and track ROI.
• Orient volunteers during recruitment activities.
• Follow up with leads in CRM.
• Join weekly manager check-ins and participate in professional development.
• Collaborate with community partners.
• Upload leads into the CRM and manage SchoolMint actions.
