Job summary

Dickey's Barbecue Restaurants Inc in Dallas, TX is seeking an onsite Recruiter to support recruiting across multiple restaurant locations. This role involves travel to assigned stores, sourcing candidates, posting jobs, and coordinating interviews.

You will partner with store managers to identify staffing needs, review applications, prescreen candidates, and schedule interviews. Maintain clear communication with applicants and provide regular updates on hiring progress to leadership.

Qualifications

• Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
• Comfort working onsite with store teams and traveling to multiple locations.
• Ability to manage multiple openings and shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in recruiting, staffing, interviewing, customer service, restaurant, or retail is a plus.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Travel to assigned store locations to support recruiting and hiring needs
• Partner with store managers and leadership to identify staffing needs and hiring priorities
• Create, post, and maintain job postings on online job boards and recruiting platforms
• Review applications, identify qualified candidates, and conduct initial phone and/or in-person prescreen interviews
• Coordinate candidate interviews between applicants and store management teams
• Maintain consistent communication with candidates throughout the hiring process until positions are filled
• Attend onsite hiring events, job fairs, and recruitment activities as needed
• Support hiring for restaurant roles, including hourly team members, cooks, cashiers, shift leaders, and management positions
• Track applicants, interview activity, and hiring progress using recruiting systems, spreadsheets, or other tracking tools
• Help ensure each store location maintains an active pipeline of qualified candidates
• Represent the company professionally and support a positive candidate experience
• Provide regular updates to leadership on recruiting activity, hiring needs, and hiring progress

• Basic computer skills; ability to learn applicant tracking systems and online job boards
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license, if required for the assigned travel territory
• Previous recruiting, staffing, interviewing, customer service, restaurant, or retail experience is a plus
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus, but not required
• Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and strong desire to help teams grow
