Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Quality Manager I to own the project QC program, maintain the ITP, schedule tests, and write the daily QC report. You will assist inspectors, witness tests, and ensure nonconformances are tracked to resolution.

The role emphasizes coordination with superintendents and engineers, documentation accuracy, and readiness of submittals. Growth toward Quality Manager II with sponsored training is expected.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in construction materials testing, special inspection, or contractor QC.
• Able to read specifications and drawings and turn them into a test schedule.
• Direct, organized, and comfortable informing a superintendent when a lift does not pass.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the project inspection and test plan and testing frequency log against specs.
• Schedule and witness field and lab tests; verify certifications of technicians.
• Write the daily QC report and three-phase meeting records.
• Open, track, and close nonconformance reports with the superintendent and engineer.
• Keep submittal, mix design, and material certification files audit-ready.
