Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a Construction Quality Manager I to own the quality control program on a single project. You will maintain the ITP, schedule and witness tests, write daily QC reports, and manage nonconformances through close collaboration with the superintendent and engineer of record.

The role advances a field inspector to a managerial position, with sponsored training and potential progression to higher-level Quality Manager roles.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in construction materials testing, special inspection, or contractor QC.
• Certified qualifications include ACI Grade I, NICET Level II, ICC special inspector, or USACE CQM-C; sponsorship available for CQM-C.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the project inspection and test plan (ITP) and the testing frequency log against the specifications.
• Schedule and witness field and laboratory tests; verify certifications of technicians.
• Write the daily quality control report and meeting records; manage nonconformances with the engineer and superintendent.
