Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Construction Quality Manager I to own the QC program for a single project. You will maintain the ITP, schedule tests, witness field and lab work, and produce daily QC reports. You’ll open and close nonconformances with the engineer of record and keep all documentation audit-ready.

This role is ideal for an inspector stepping into management, with sponsorship for required certifications and growth to QC Manager II as programs expand.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in construction materials testing, special inspection, or QC.
• Ability to read specifications and drawings and translate to tests.
• Direct, organized, and capable of communicating nonconformances.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the project ITP and testing frequency log per specs.
• Schedule and witness field and lab tests; verify technician certifications.
• Write the daily QC report and three-phase meeting records.
• Open, track, and close nonconformance reports with the engineer of record.
• Keep submittal, mix design, and material certification files audit-ready.
