Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a Quality Manager I to own the QC program on a single project. You will maintain the ITP, schedule tests, witness field and lab work, and produce daily QC reporting.

You will open and track NCRs and ensure certifications stay current, guiding the team through nonconformance resolution. The role progresses from field inspector to site program owner, with sponsored training opportunities and a clear path toward higher‑level QC management as your projects

Qualifications

• 3+ years in construction materials testing or QC for a project.
• At least one: ACI Grade I, NICET II, ICC Special Inspector, or USACE CQM-C (sponsorship available).
• Ability to read specifications and drawings and translate to a test schedule.
• Direct, organized, and capable of communicating nonconformance to the superintendent.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the project ITP and testing frequency log against specs.
• Schedule and witness field and lab tests; verify technician certifications.
• Write the daily QC report and three‑phase meeting records; manage NCRs until closure.
• Audit-ready submittal, mix design, and material certification files.
