Job summary

Trane Supply is seeking a Field Quality Engineer to influence product quality and customer satisfaction by leading quality initiatives across equipment platforms. You will coordinate information from support teams, field technicians and manufacturing to fix issues and improve performance.

The role requires a mechanical engineering degree and 5 years in quality engineering with APQP/DFMEA/PPAP experience, plus travel up to 15%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
• 5 years of experience in quality/quality engineering in design, engineering or manufacturing.
• Experience with APQP, DFMEA, PPAP and lean manufacturing practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide Field Quality leadership across assigned products with focus on reducing cost of quality.
• Coordinate with Technical Support, Field Teams and customers to identify root causes and actions.
• Develop a clearly defined project pipeline and track improvements to meet CTQ goals.
• Facilitate root cause analysis across functions and communicate corrective actions.
• Travel up to 15% as needed to sites and customer interactions.
