Job summary

Trane Technologies is seeking a senior quality leader to oversee design and process quality for Sourced Products within HVAC finished goods. You will drive APQP, DFMEA and PPAP, mentor suppliers, and ensure robust problem-solving and warranty recovery across the lifecycle of products.

Ideal candidates bring 8–12 years in quality engineering, strong leadership, and the ability to travel up to 50%. The role emphasizes collaboration with product, category management and field teams to deliver

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related discipline and 8–12 years in quality engineering.
• Strong leadership and experience with APQP, FMEA and PPAP deployment.
• Ability to influence and collaborate across the Trane organization and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Lead quality initiatives for Sourced Products to ensure design and manufacturing excellence.
• Coach teams on problem solving and standard work to improve FPY and warranty outcomes.
• Monitor supplier performance and drive robust corrective actions.
• Execute quality planning for new product introductions through Sourced Product channels.
• Provide quality support to account managers, field service and customers.
