Texas Materials, a CRH company, is seeking a Field Technician to perform field inspection and testing of aggregates and asphalt, and document results for quality control. You will build relationships with customers, facility managers, and DOT personnel.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, requires DOT certifications, and may require some travel. A safety-first mindset and ability to work in a team are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must obtain and maintain DOT certifications required to test asphalt as per state regulations.
• Less than 1 year of related field experience required.
• TxDOT certified level 1A (plant production specialist) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, sample, and test aggregates, asphalt, or other materials for quality control.
• Record and maintain test results in the database.
• Develop and maintain relationships with customers, facility managers, and DOT/state officials.
• Follow safety policies and procedures and work in a team environment.
