Job summary

Texas Materials, a CRH company, is seeking a Field Technician to provide field inspection, testing and documentation for plant facilities. You will develop relationships with customers, facility managers, DOT personnel, and state agencies while ensuring quality control across materials and processes.

This role requires DOT certifications and TxDOT Level 1A, with a focus on accurate data entry, safety, and timely completion of tasks in a team environment at field sites.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must obtain and maintain DOT certifications required by state regulations.
• Less than 1 year of experience in related field required.
• Must have a TxDOT certified level 1A (plant production specialist certification).

Responsibilities

• Inspect, sample, and test aggregates, asphalt, or other materials for quality control.
• Sample and test mixtures to stay in contract specifications.
• Monitor and test process functions to ensure product compliance with agency or customer requirements.
• Prepare and record accurate information; maintain test results database.
• Obtain required certifications in a timely manner.
