Job summary

Work includes coordinating with DOT personnel, ensuring safety, and maintaining detailed test records. Requires ACI Field Grade I and DOT certifications; less than one year of relevant experience is acceptable.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• ACI Field Grade I Testing Technician certification.
• ACI Aggregate or Laboratory Certification; NRMCA certification is a plus.
• Experience collecting, testing and reporting concrete/aggregate samples.
• Must obtain and maintain DOT certifications per state regulations.
• Less than one year of related experience is acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, sample, and test materials for quality control per specs.
• Prepare and record test results; maintain QA/QC databases.
• Develop relationships with customers, DOT, and agencies.
• Perform physical tests on ready-mix concrete and aggregates.
• Monitor daily processes to ensure compliance with specs.
