Job summary

Texas Materials, a CRH company in Houston, TX, is seeking a Quality Control Technician to perform inspection, sampling, and testing of aggregates and asphalt. You will manage data, maintain lab certifications, and ensure products meet contract specifications while upholding safety standards.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, DOT 1B certification, and be able to work in a team environment with strong attention to detail and mathematics.

Qualifications

• Must hold a high school diploma or GED.
• Must obtain and maintain TxDOT level 1B plant production specialist certification.
• Must pass pre-employment screenings as required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, sample, and test aggregates, asphalt, or materials for quality control.
• Monitor test results and maintain the data in the lab database.
• Ensure safe lab operations and compliance with OSHA/MSHA policies.
• Prepare accurate documentation and maintain certification paperwork.
