Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Quality Assurance professional to develop and oversee project-specific QA plans for federal construction, ensuring compliance with FAR and CQM requirements across multiple sites. You will perform daily inspections, review submittals, coordinate with field staff and government representatives, and maintain QA documentation to support safe, on-time project delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree.
• 5 years of relevant experience.
• Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a college degree.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain the project QA plan per FAR/CQM requirements.
• Perform daily quality inspections and document progress to meet standards.
• Oversee QC meetings with stakeholders and subcontractors.
• Review and approve submittals, shop drawings, and materials for conformance.
• Coordinate with field supervisors, project managers, and government reps on non-conformances and corrective actions.
• Maintain QA documentation including inspection reports, NCRs, and corrective action logs.
• Collaborate with safety and project controls to ensure integrated compliance.
• Verify testing/inspection by qualified personnel and labs.
• Participate in meetings, audits, and final inspections for acceptance.
