Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a Construction Quality Manager II to oversee the quality control program on large or multi-phase projects, including heavy civil and federal work meeting USACE quality requirements. You will manage field inspectors, write and defend the project QC plan, and lead three-phase control meetings with the owner's QA liaison.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in construction quality control including supervision of inspectors
• USACE CQM-C certificate plus ICC special inspector or NICET Level III
• Experience on USACE, NAVFAC, DOT, or industrial owner programs
• Clear written communication in challenging meetings

Responsibilities

• Write and maintain the project quality control plan and get it accepted by the owner or agency
• Lead preparatory, initial, and follow-up phase meetings for definable features of work
• Supervise QC inspectors and testing technicians
• Assign daily coverage and review reports
• Run NCRs and corrective-action process and present in owner QA/QC meetings
• Coordinate lab testing, mix design approvals, and material certifications across subs
