Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Construction Quality Manager II to lead the QA/QC program on large, multi-phase projects, including heavy civil, industrial, or federal work under USACE or NAVFAC quality requirements.

You will write the project quality control plan, run three-phase control meetings, supervise QC inspectors and testing technicians, and own testing, NCR resolution, and corrective actions to ensure compliance and successful audits.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in construction quality control or special inspection.
• 2+ years supervising inspectors.
• USACE CQM-C certificate plus ICC special inspector or NICET Level III certification.
• Experience on USACE, NAVFAC, DOT, or industrial owner quality programs.

Responsibilities

• Write and maintain the project quality control plan and get it accepted by the owner or agency;
• Lead preparatory, initial, and follow-up phase meetings for every definable feature of work;
• Supervise QC inspectors and testing technicians;
• Assign daily coverage and review reports;
• Run the nonconformance and corrective-action process and present it in owner QA/QC meetings;
• Coordinate laboratory testing, mix design approvals, and material certifications across subcontractors.
