Job summary

Empire Southwest is seeking a field service technician to repair, recondition, and service Caterpillar and allied machines in the field. You will troubleshoot malfunctions, prepare equipment for delivery, and communicate findings to clients and management.

The role requires travel to remote locations, overtime as needed, and adherence to safety policies. A high school diploma, valid driver's license, and DOT licensing as required are essential; English fluency and strong diagnostic skills are

Qualifications

• Must communicate information, instructions, and explanations effectively.
• Demonstrated technical skill and ability to diagnose equipment.
• Knowledge of CAT machine components and systems is preferred.
• Ability to use diagnostic equipment including computerized instrumentation.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions.
• Repair, recondition, and maintain equipment and components.
• Prepare service reports and plan repair costs.
• Maintain safe, clean, and orderly equipment.
• Travel to remote locations as needed.
