Job summary

Empire Southwest is seeking a Field Service Technician to repair, recondition, and service Caterpillar and allied machines in the field. You will prepare equipment for delivery and diagnose malfunctions across engines and systems.

You must have six months of related experience, English proficiency, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to pass the eTRAIN assessment. The role requires traveling to remote locations and working in varying weather conditions.

• Six months of related experience in similar role and environment.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions and failures.
• Maintain good client relations and support for corporate marketing objectives.
• Repair, recondition, and maintain equipment and components.
• Prepare service reports.
• Plan and control cost of repair jobs.
• Maintain company equipment - keep it in good, clean, orderly condition.
• Work safely and comply with all safety policies and company standards.
