Job summary

Empire Southwest is seeking a field technician to repair, recondition, and service Caterpillar and allied equipment in the field. Responsibilities include troubleshooting malfunctions, preparing service reports, and traveling to remote sites as necessary.

A high school diploma or GED, valid driver's license, and DOT credentials are required. Ability to work in varied weather and overtime as needed is essential.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated diagnostic skill; ability to troubleshoot equipment malfunctions.
• Knowledge of CAT machine components and systems.
• Ability to communicate information clearly to clients and management.
• Must have valid driver's license; CDL if required by state law.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions.
