Job summary

National General is seeking a Field Property Adjuster to investigate and assess homeowners claims from start to finish. You will confirm loss facts, determine coverage, and negotiate settlements within your authority, managing supplements, ALE, contents, and full lifecycle.

The position requires experience in field and desk settings, proficiency in Xactimate, and an active adjuster license or reciprocity eligibility.

Qualifications

• Experience as an adjuster handling homeowners property claims.
• Strong understanding of claim lifecycle including ALE, contents, and supplements.
• Licensing prerequisites or reciprocity for applicable states preferred.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and evaluate homeowners property claims from start to finish.
• Confirm facts of loss, determine coverage and negotiate settlements.
• Manage supplements, ALE, contents, and full file ownership.
• Interact with customers, contractors and partners to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
• Adhere to regulatory basics and company policies in claims handling.
• Suggest process improvements to streamline workflows.
