Job summary

National General is hiring a Field Property Adjuster to investigate and evaluate homeowners property claims from start to finish. You will confirm facts of loss, determine coverage, assess damages and negotiate settlements within your authority, managing the full claim lifecycle including ALE and contents.

Ideal candidates have proficiency in Xactimate, strong claims handling experience, and excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to estimate damages for complex homeowner losses.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance and fair claims practices.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and evaluate homeowners property claims from start to finish.
• Confirm facts of loss, determine coverage and negotiate settlements.
• Manage entire claim lifecycle including supplements, ALE, contents and personal property.
• Communicate clearly with customers, contractors and partners throughout the process.
• Hold mastery in applying policy provisions and training leadership where needed.
• Identify and recommend process improvements.
