Job summary

Utilities One Group is seeking a qualified, local Field Project Manager to lead on-site operations in Monmouth, IL. You will review project scope, coordinate with vendors, manage daily field activities, and ensure compliance with plans and safety standards.

The role requires strong knowledge of aerial and underground construction, the ability to travel between sites, and excellent communication with management and clients. This is a full-time, on-site opportunity offering comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Valid, unrestricted driver’s license.
• Strong knowledge of aerial and underground design and construction requirements.
• Ability to lift around 50 pounds, safely climb ladders, and work in extreme weather.
• Ability to read maps, drawings, and diagrams for fiber construction.
• Willingness to travel to different job sites within the assigned market.

Responsibilities

• Review projects for scope, constructability, and sequencing.
• Conduct pre-construction walkouts with vendors and internal teams.
• Verify locate status and ensure valid locates are in place prior to excavation.
• Coordinate daily with foremen and vendors to review work plans and sequencing.
• Ensure safety, QA/QC, and adherence to plans across field execution.
• Communicate updates and changes to field crews and management.
• Represent the company as the on-site operational leader.
