Job summary

Renovo Search is seeking a Field Project Engineer to support on-site construction and commissioning for a large-scale BESS project in San Antonio, Texas. The role reports to the Project Execution Manager and involves field engineering representation, coordination, quality assurance, and daily project reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in active construction environments and travel.

Responsibilities

• Support daily on-site construction activities, coordination, and issue resolution.
• Review contracts, change orders, and amendments to ensure proper field execution.
• Develop and track construction schedules, ensuring alignment with project timelines.
• Monitor construction progress to confirm compliance with approved designs and safety standards.
• Coordinate with contractors to ensure adherence to safety, quality, and environmental requirements.
• Manage RFIs, NCRs, submittals, and field changes.
• Verify contractor compliance with QA/QC processes and project specifications.
• Prepare progress, safety, and quality reports for project management.
