Job summary

ConocoPhillips seeks a Production Operations Multi-Skill Operator for the Eagle Ford asset, based in Kenedy, TX. You will monitor and improve production from wells, stations and facilities, operating remotely and on-site with a company-provided vehicle.

You will drive health, safety and environmental practices while coordinating with field teams. Candidates must reside within 40 miles of Kenedy, TX and be able to work in demanding conditions.

Qualifications

• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Current/Valid Driver's License.
• 1+ years of oil and gas production practices.
• 1+ years of well gas lift operations experience.
• 1+ years of operating and troubleshooting compressors.
• 1+ years of testing wells and flowback equipment.
• Advanced knowledge in startup of new wells and pipelines.
• Experience with electronic remote well supervision (Cygnet, CP).
• Relocate within 40 miles of Kenedy, TX.
• Willing to work in extremes, on-call and in various locations.

Responsibilities

• Safely start up new wells and facilities.
• Operate gas lift wells, gas-assisted plunger lift wells, and compression.
• Inspect wells, tanks, meters, separators, and piping for leaks.
• Access remote locations to check wells, pressures and flow.
• Gauging tanks for sale or transfer of crude oil and water.
• Operate and troubleshoot compressors.
• Test wells and operate sand traps and flowback equipment.
• Use electronic remote supervision to optimize production.
• Maintain chemical injection rates and start/shut-in wells.
• Enter daily volumes and tests into a computer database.
