Job summary

ConocoPhillips is seeking a Multi-Skill Plant Operator (MSO) for its Eagle Ford operations based in Kenedy, TX. The role involves operating condensate stabilizing facilities, monitoring equipment, and coordinating with maintenance and control teams.

A strong emphasis on safety and regulatory compliance is required. Applicants should have 3+ years in oil & gas, an associate degree or technical certificate, and be prepared for a 12-hour rotating shift with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• 3+ years of experience in the oil and gas industry.
• Willing and able to travel 5% of the time annually.
• Currently reside or willingness to relocate within a 40-mile radius of Kenedy, TX.

Responsibilities

• Follow ConocoPhillips Health, Safety, & Environmental (HSE), OSHA, and PSM rules.
• Ensure safe and efficient operation of condensate stabilizing facilities.
• Monitor stabilizers and equipment to maintain efficient operation.
• Work a twelve-hour rotating shift with possible overtime during turnarounds, upsets, or high workload.
• Load/unload condensate and NGL trucks; conduct condensate sample testing (e.g., Reid vapor pressure).
• Operate stabilizer trains, pumps, compressors, LACT units, and related equipment.
• Collaborate with Operations and Instrument & Electrical (I&E) to optimize instrumentation controls.
• Maintain teamwork with Eagle Ford Operations and 3rd party truck hauling partners.
• Check rotating equipment, adjust controls, and verify level/pressure readings in the control room.
• Enter daily production reports and field notes; conduct end-of-shift handovers.
• Maintain chemical injection rates and optimize process equipment runtime.
• Perform facility walk-throughs, manage changes (MOCs), and pre-startup safety reviews (PSSRs).
• Troubleshoot operations issues, housekeeping, and record-keeping.
