ConocoPhillips in Texas seeks a Mainline – Field Operator to oversee central facilities, monitor production, and optimize costs in the Eagle Ford region.

This safety-sensitive role requires relocation within 40 miles of Kennedy, TX and legal authorization to work in the United States. The position includes comprehensive benefits and opportunities for growth within a large energy company.

Qualifications

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Current/Valid Driver's License.
• 3+ years of experience in unconventional field operations.
• Basic understanding of gas compression principles.
• Basic understanding of dehydration principles.
• Basic understanding of gas and liquid measurement.
• Basic knowledge of mechanics and instrumentation.
• Currently reside or be willing to relocate within a 40-mile driving radius of Kenedy, TX.
• Willing and able to perform/align with: work in temperature extremes or adverse weather conditions; wear PPE; and be on call.

Responsibilities

• Follows all HSE, OSHA, and PSM rules.
• Starting up and shutting down central facilities under normal and emergency conditions.
• Trouble-shooting operations problems, housekeeping and record keeping.
• Monitor central facility performance data through Cygnet.
• Gauge tanks for level indication readings in the control room.
• Maintain chemical injection rates as necessary.
• Coordinate with Eagle Ford Operations and third-party truck haulers.
• Handover processes and pre-startup safety reviews (PSSR)/commissioning of new equipment and facilities.
