Job summary

DSC Dredge, LLC seeks a Product Support Technician to provide hands-on installation, repair, and preventive maintenance for dredging equipment at customer sites. The role offers an entry-to-mid level path within DSC's Product Support career track, working under the direction of a Product Support Specialist or supervisor.

You will perform field service tasks, troubleshoot standard electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical issues, and assist with startup and commissioning.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED; completion of a technical/trade program is a plus.
• 1–3 years hands-on experience in electrical, mechanical, or hydraulic systems or equivalent training.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel up to 100% domestically.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site installation and repair of dredging equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical issues using manuals and schematics.
• Perform preventive maintenance according to schedules and checklists.
• Assist with installation, startup, and commissioning at customer sites.
• Complete field service reports and compliance documentation for each assignment.
• Follow safety procedures; identify hazards and maintain safe work practices.
• Support training sessions led by a Specialist or supervisor.
• Escalate non-routine issues to a Product Support Specialist or Engineering.
