Job summary

DSC Dredge, LLC seeks a Product Support Specialist to act as the senior on-site technical authority for complex dredging equipment. You will lead installations, startups, and repairs, mentoring technicians and coordinating with Engineering and manufacturing teams.

Based at our Reserve, LA HQ, you will travel extensively, often internationally, and handle challenging field issues with minimal supervision while maintaining customer relationships and equipment performance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3–5+ years of hands-on field experience in electrical, mechanical, or hydraulic systems.
• Ability to work independently in a customer-facing role.
• Valid driver’s license and passport with 100% travel (domestic and international).
• Willing to work flexible or rotating shifts; strong communication skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Leads on-site installation, startup, and repair of complex DSC dredging equipment, directing Technicians as needed.
• Diagnoses and resolves complex electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical problems; serves as primary technical contact.
• Interfaces with manufacturing facilities and customer through installation, training, and maintenance.
• Ensures facilities and support equipment are ready before equipment arrives on site.
• Identifies upgrades and services to improve equipment performance; supports retrofits.
