Job summary
DSC Dredge, LLC is seeking an experienced Hydraulic Technician III to serve as the most senior hands-on hydraulics specialist in our manufacturing facility. You will diagnose and resolve the most complex hydraulic failures, lead installation and repair of critical components, and mentor less experienced technicians as we build dredges and components for customers worldwide.
Under the Millwright Foreman, you will read schematics, perform preventive maintenance, and ensure safety and quality
Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent industry-related experience.
- Minimum age of 18.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex hydraulic system failures using diagnostic tools and root-cause analysis.
- Monitor equipment to detect early signs of malfunction or wear.
- Perform routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs on hydraulic systems.
- Repair or replace pumps, motors, valves, cylinders, and hoses.
- Read and interpret drawings, service manuals, and schematics to repair and install machinery.
- Install new hydraulic systems and components and ensure safe operation.
- Maintain documentation of maintenance, repairs, and inspections.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
- Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to resolve issues and improve efficiency.
- Provide technical support and training to junior technicians.
- Stay current with advancements in hydraulic technology.
