Job summary

Rosendin is seeking a Manager, Field Payroll to lead accurate and timely wage payments for skilled craftspeople across nationwide projects. You will ensure compliance with federal, state, local, and union agreements while supporting Rosendin's growth and employee-owners.

You will manage a team of Field Payroll Specialists, oversee multi-state payroll processing, integrate timekeeping with Workday, and partner with PMs, HR, and project controls to resolve payroll inquiries and improve processes.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with large-scale enterprise payroll software, ideally Workday.
• Experience with construction-specific timekeeping systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities for payroll compliance.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills and leadership experience.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Field Payroll Specialists.
• Oversee end-to-end processing of multi-state, multi-union payroll.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, local, and union agreements.
• Integrate timekeeping data with Workday and resolve discrepancies.
• Collaborate with Project Managers, Field Superintendents, HR, and Project Controls.
• Conduct internal payroll audits and support external audits.
• Identify and implement overall payroll process improvements.
• Analyze and resolve complex payroll issues and tax discrepancies.
• Prepare comprehensive payroll reports for management and compliance.
• Stay current with changes in payroll legislation and union contracts.
