You will supervise, train, and mentor staff, coordinate with HR and IT, review pay rates against union contracts, and resolve escalated issues while staying current on payroll regulations and tax laws.

Qualifications

• Payroll multi-state tax knowledge required.
• Competent in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Experience with Fusion Oracle and Workday preferred.
• Union experience within construction advantageous.
• Professional demeanor and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a payroll team handling complex multi-state/union payrolls.
• Audit timekeeping, payroll, and benefit setups; ensure compliance.
• Train staff and provide performance feedback and issue resolutions.
• Collaborate with HR on leaves, transfers, and regulatory changes.
• Resolve escalated employee pay questions and coordinate with IT.
