Job summary

Beneficial Talent Source is seeking P&C Field Services Technicians for 20 openings nationwide. The role focuses on testing and commissioning protection and control systems in high‑voltage substations across the United States.

You will perform relay testing, control scheme verification, and field documentation, reporting to on‑site Project Leads. This 80% field-based position requires travel and offers competitive compensation reflecting experience.

Qualifications

• Hands‑on experience with medium and high voltage electrical testing (circuit breakers, transformers, instrument transformers, P&C systems)
• Familiarity with NETA, IEEE, and NFPA testing standards
• Proficiency with listed test tools (Omicron, Doble, ProTesT, ENOServ, AcSELerator)
• Valid driver's license with a clean record

Responsibilities

• Perform relay testing (static and dynamic) using test sets across relay families
• Conduct control scheme testing, CT/PT circuit verification, and settings uploads
• Document field logs, sketches, and digital reports
• Report to on‑site Project Leads and Field Supervisors
