Union Medical Care Center is seeking a full-time outreach specialist to identify potential clients and inform the public about all services and programs available. Under supervision, you will maintain an aggressive outreach effort by meeting clients in the field.

You will perform community outreach at homes, schools, churches, and health fairs, follow up with clients, and post informational materials while staying informed about available programs and services.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: Previous experience in community outreach, customer relations and/or community-based programs; one-to-one communication.
• Other: Bilingual English/Spanish preferred; must have dependable transportation and a Texas driver's license with auto liability insurance.

Responsabilités

• Performs outreach in the community at homes, schools, churches, agency sites and health fairs.
• Follow up with clients via phone, mail, and door-to-door; document activities.
• Post informational posters, flyers and brochures at local stores, community centers, schools and churches.
• Maintains knowledge of programs and services available to clients/patients.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
