Job summary

Via Care Community Health Center in Los Angeles, CA is seeking an Outreach and Enrollment Specialist to foster community relationships, educate residents, and support enrollment processes. This role requires bilingual English/Spanish communication and extensive field outreach.

Responsibilities include organizing events, developing partnerships, and coordinating with enrollment staff to promote seamless onboarding and ongoing patient care. Occasional travel and evening events are expected.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in healthcare, community outreach, enrollment services, public health, or social services.
• Covered California Enrollment Assister Certification strongly preferred
• HIV/STI Counseling Certification and training in family planning services preferred
• Bilingual in English and Spanish required

Responsibilities

• Attend, organize, and represent Via Care at community events, health fairs, and school or senior center functions.
• Build and maintain partnerships with community organizations, agencies, advocacy groups, and referral sources.
• Educate community members about healthcare services and assist with enrollment and onboarding.
• Track outreach activities, patient engagement, and enrollment outcomes.
• Travel throughout Via Care service areas, including East Los Angeles and surrounding communities.
