Job summary

United Site Services is seeking a Field Ops Supervisor to oversee yard operations, DOT compliance, fleet management, and route optimization, while leading a diverse team of technicians and drivers.

You will coordinate with the Operations Coordinator and Routers to maximize routing efficiency, ensure staffing levels, review driver paperwork, and support safety programs across the division.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 Year/Associates Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of 2 years proven leadership experience leading a diverse team to accomplish results.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate all activities for the yard. Supervises all Technicians.
• Coordinate routes, pick-ups, and deliveries with Operations Coordinator & Routers to maximize routing efficiency.
• Analyze and report on operational activities (routing efficiency, labor, overtime, fuel, and customer care).
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure strong communication and resolve issues.
• Coordinate asset transfers with Operations Supervisors at other yards.
• Maintain staffing levels to meet customer and branch needs.
• Assist Operations Manager with logistics for special events.
• Review driver paperwork (manifests, tickets, DVIRs) for accuracy.
• Review and approve Time Saver punches and time-off requests.
• Oversee fleet DOT administration and safety program administration.
• Lead employee development and periodic performance reviews.
• Operate a variety of company vehicles.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
