Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC seeks a Foreperson to supervise daily crew operations, coordinate with management on hiring needs, and ensure safety compliance on job sites. You will mentor workers, handle training, and communicate with property owners to coordinate work scopes.

The role requires CDL-capable driving, ability to travel for storm work, and strong leadership to manage crew performance and safety. Competitive hourly pay and comprehensive benefits are provided.

Qualificações

• Must understand drawings and symbols representing lines, voltages, line equipment.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Good organization and multi-tasking abilities.
• Able to adapt to field requirements with minimal supervision.
• Able to safely drive an approved company vehicle.
• Capable of working with hands above head for extended periods.
• Willing to travel for storm work.

Responsabilidades

• Plans, coordinates, and assigns daily work for the crew after receiving orders from a General Foreperson/Line Clearance Supervisor.
• Conducts field training and retraining for crew on new or revised job units.
• Enforces safe work practices per OSHA and company policies; conducts safety training.
• Discusses access, power interruption, and work scope with property owners; refers complex cases to supervisor.
• Obtains permission from property owners to perform work.
• Maintains good customer relations through completed work and professional conduct of crew.
• Investigation of minor incidents or claims when delegated.
• Maintains records, timesheets, and reports on crew performance.
• Controls crew costs via efficient staffing and methods.
• Furnishes reports of orders completed and crew activity to supervisors and utilities.
• Periodically reports on incidents and equipment issues.
• Cooperates with customers and authorities when blocking streets or driveways.
• Sets up barriers and safety measures to protect employees and the public.
• Inspects and arranges repairs for tools, trucks, and equipment.
• Maintains good housekeeping at work sites and vehicles.
• Meets DOT maintenance and inspection requirements for vehicles.
