Job summary

Summit Midstream is seeking a Field Operator to inspect, maintain, and repair its pipeline facilities, including LACT units, under supervision. The role involves collaborating with management and field teams to ensure safe, reliable operations across multiple sites.

Responsibilities include on-site patrols, regulatory compliance tasks, and coordination with landowners and emergency responders. Strong communication and basic mechanical aptitude are essential for success in this field.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 0–2+ years of general pipeline experience.
• Basic knowledge of line location equipment.
• Ability to read drawings and schematics.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Must have a valid driver license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, and repair pipelines, LACT units, and related facilities.
• Perform pipeline patrols and coordinate with crews at other locations.
• Operate and assist in maintenance at LACT facilities and monitor pressures.
• Implement safety procedures and complete regulatory documentation.
• Respond to pipeline emergencies and conduct leak detection.
• Use Maximo for work orders and CYGNET system as needed.
