Job summary

Summit Midstream Partners is seeking a Field Operator to inspect, maintain and repair pipelines and related facilities. You will work under supervision to ensure safe, reliable operation of gathering systems across multiple basins in the U.S.

Ideal candidates have 0–2+ years in pipelines, a high school diploma, and a valid driver’s license. The role emphasizes safety, regulatory compliance, and effective communication with landowners and contractors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 0–2+ years of general pipeline experience in natural gas.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Ability to read drawings and schematics, and understand pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, and repair pipelines and related facilities as assigned.
• On-site safety and regulatory compliance for all tasks.
• Coordinate with management and field crews to execute maintenance.
• Respond to emergencies and participate in safety drills and reporting.
• Maintain documentation and work orders using Maximo and CYGNET.
• Support integrity management and regulatory tasks as needed.
