Job summary

United Site Services is seeking a Field Ops Supervisor to lead yard operations and a team of technicians and drivers. You will coordinate routes, monitor performance metrics, and partner with departments to ensure top-tier service and safety compliance.

The role requires strong leadership, organization, reliable communications, and a valid driver license, with a focus on improving routing efficiency and asset management. This is a full-time, on-site position in the Stamford area.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 Year/Associates Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of 2 years proven leadership experience leading a diverse team to accomplish results.
• Minimum or 2 years experience in a related field and/or training.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate all activities for the yard. Supervises all Technicians.
• Coordinate routes, pick-ups, and deliveries to ensure routing efficiencies.
• Analyze and report on operational activities (routing, labor, fuel, etc.).
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure communication and issue resolution.
• Coordinate asset transfers with other yards as needed.
• Maintain staffing levels to meet customer and branch needs.
• Assist with coordinating logistics for special events.
• Review drivers' paperwork for completion and accuracy.
• Review payroll time punches and schedule time off as needed.
• Oversee DOT administration (log books, DVIRs, etc.).
• Administer safety program with Safety & HR coordination.
• Conduct periodic performance reviews and develop employees.
• Operate a variety of company vehicles.
