Job summary

The Field Supervisor at Asplundh leads a crew responsible for safe, high-quality vegetation management operations. You will manage staffing, training, daily briefs, and field inspections while ensuring adherence to safety policies and company values.

Responsibilities include reporting, customer interaction, incident responses, and coordinating with the Project Manager. Strong supervision, CDL, and ISA certification are required, with willingness to work extended hours as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
• 2 years’ experience in supervision of field operations preferred.
• ISA Certification.
• Herbicide License.
• Valid CDL required.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of Crew Members to ensure safety and quality of work.
• Report, handle customer interactions, and assist with field management tasks.
• Enforce Grid One Solutions safety policies and core values.
• Conduct daily job/safety briefings and communicate hazards.
• Train, coach, and improve efficiencies of crew members.
• Recruit, interview, and onboard new hires as needed.
• Coordinate with internal/external customers and report incidents.
• Submit JBOs and SMPs per policy.
• Plan tailgate meetings and conduct vehicle inspections.
• Track and report safety, quality, productivity, attendance, and tardiness.
