Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC seeks a Foreperson to oversee daily crew productivity, coordinating with management on hiring needs, deadlines, and safety protocols while mentoring the team.

The role includes troubleshooting site issues, enforcing safety standards, maintaining records, and communicating with property owners to obtain access for work. Strong leadership and CDL driving are required.

Qualifications

• Must understand drawings and symbols representing lines, voltages, line equipment.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Able to work with field requirements and take independent action without close supervision.
• Must be able to safely drive an approved company vehicle.
• Must be able to work with hands above head for extended periods.
• Weight not to exceed 300 pounds; no fear of heights.

Responsibilities

• Plans, coordinates, and assigns daily work for the crew after receiving orders.
• Conducts field training and retraining for crew on new or revised tasks.
• Enforces safe work practices and conducts safety training per policy and OSHA.
• Discusses access and work details with property owners/customers and refers complex cases to General Foreperson.
• Obtains permission from property owners to perform required work.
• Maintains good customer relations and professional conduct of the crew.
• Furnishes reports on completed orders, crew time, and incidents to management.
• Controls crew costs and optimal use of resources.
