Job summary

Exelon in Dixon, Illinois is seeking an experienced Distribution Supervisor to lead craft crews, ensure safety and reliability, and manage union relations. The role requires 24-hour on-call readiness and a minimum two-year commitment.

You will oversee maintenance, budgeting, and coordination with Operations management, supporting emergency response and continuous improvement across a regional area. Exelon offers competitive pay and robust benefits.

Qualifications

• 4-7 years internal utility company experience or equivalent external experience.
• 2-3 years internal supervisory experience or acceptable Supervisory Assessment.
• Demonstrated leadership and communication skills in a high-performance culture.
• Position requires 24-hour on-call responsibility and varied work schedules.
• Minimum 2-year commitment in position required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and direct craft employees during scheduled and emergent work to maximize safety and reliability.
• Promote a high-performance culture and coach, train, and evaluate staff.
• Facilitate open communication and maintain relationships with other departments.
• Manage Union/management relationships and engage local union stewards regarding the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
• Work within departmental budgets and plan resource coverage to meet business plans and objectives.
• Coordinate emergency response to restore continuity of service to customers.
