Job summary

Veolia North America is seeking a field operations supervisor to oversee day-to-day activities, coordinating transportation and disposal services for hazardous waste. Responsibilities include manifesting, labeling, and ensuring compliance with DOT/EPA and company regulations. Training and guiding junior staff are part of the role.

The ideal candidate holds a Class A/B CDL, 40-hour HAZWOPER training, and 2–4 years of hazardous waste experience, with supervisory experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
• 2–4 years of hazardous waste experience.
• Supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Leads teams in packing, labeling, manifesting and shipping hazardous waste from customer sites to disposal centers.
• Ensure compliance with all DOT/EPA and VES-TS regulations in paperwork for disposal of hazardous waste materials.
• Provide training to lower level field personnel.
• Maintain professional communications with internal and external customers daily.
