Job summary

Veolia in North America is seeking a field-focused environmental technician to perform sampling, manifesting, packaging, and transportation coordination of hazardous wastes in accordance with DOT and EPA regulations.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, with a preferred bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or related science; strong teamwork, communication, and time-management skills are essential. Valid driver’s license and HazWOPER readiness are part of the job considerations.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Sample waste streams according to prescribed policies and procedures.
• Manifest, package, spill cleanup, labeling, loading, and coordinating transportation.
• Maintain a professional image and address client inquiries with solutions.
• Comply with health, safety, and regulatory procedures.
• Operate and maintain equipment for optimum efficiency.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
