Job summary

TAK Broadband is seeking a Field Supervisor in Harrisonville, MO to oversee daily installation/fulfillment operations and ensure timely, quality work. You will verify tech readiness, distribute workload, onboard crews, coach technicians, and coordinate with client leadership.

Requirements include 3+ years' cable/broadband experience, leadership, and travel up to 50% annually. Benefits include medical/dental/vision, PTO, 401(k) with match, and company-paid life insurance. Salary $50K-$60K DOE.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of cable, broadband or telecommunications experience required.
• Prior leadership experience a plus.
• Ability to travel daily +/- 50% annually, open to varying schedules.
• Excellent customer service, time management, problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with internal and external customers.
• Ability to give feedback; positive and negative when needed.
• Strong desire to grow and develop team members.
• Ability to complete work indoors, outdoors, in tight spaces and elevations.
• A body weight of no more than 275 pounds to perform ladder work safely.
• Must provide a valid government-issued photo ID; driver’s license if driving is involved.
• Passing of all pre-employment requirements (MVR, Background Check, Drug Screen).

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily installation/fulfillment operations of assigned market.
• Verify technicians are logged in, have routes, and are ready to begin work.
• Distribute daily work or redistribute if a technician calls out.
• Participate in onboarding of new contractor crews.
• Monitor technician progress with workforce management tools.
• Perform in-person quality checks (QC) on completed work and provide coaching.
• Respond to client calls or escalations as they come in.
• Support technicians by phone or on-site when troubleshooting issues.
• Mentor and develop technicians on-site or during ride-alongs.
• Participate in daily KPI/verification calls with client and leadership.
• Communicate with client leadership and field teams to align workload and needs.
• Ensure tasks are completed on time and meet quality standards.
• Travel to project sites +/- 50% annually with some overnight stays.
• Ensure crews adhere to safety standards and laws.
