Job summary

Consumers Energy is seeking a Supervisor Field Operations to lead a 24/7 operations team spanning multiple locations, ensuring safe, reliable, and cost-efficient service delivery. You will manage warehouse, materials management, and logistics while aligning with Supply Chain, Procurement, and engineering partners.

The role emphasizes lean practices, continuous improvement, and adherence to HR and safety requirements, with relocation options for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Management or related field with 2+ years of relevant experience or equivalent.
• Experience in leading union and non-union employees in supply chain operations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of Union and Non-Union employees responsible for fleet, facilities, supply chain, warehouse, logistics, and materials management operations across multiple locations.
• Provide leadership and oversight for daily operational activities, ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient service delivery.
• Ensure inventory transactions, material movements, and warehouse processes are accurately documented and maintained to support SOX compliance, financial controls, and inventory accuracy.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain, Procurement, Suppliers, Engineering, and Business Partners to support inventory management, procurement activities, forecasting, and operational planning.
• Lead labor relations activities including contract administration, grievance handling, workforce planning, and maintaining positive relationships with represented employees and labor organizations.
